Granary Road’s Christmas Market is an enchanting celebration of the holidays
that starts in our stunning Market
with 40-foot vaulted ceilings,
exposed trusses, and lighting reminiscent
of days gone by.

Continue from the market to the Granary Road Garden Centre where you will be sure to find that special & unique gift from the large collective of Artisan vendors and makers.

Christmas carols playing throughout the Market, beautifully decorated trees,
strings upon strings of Christmas lights and other festive décor make Granary Road a destination for Christmas shoppers,
foodies and families alike.

Mustard+Seed+Logo.png

This year we have teamed up with the Mustard Seed to help support some of the most vulnerable in our community.

The Mustard Seed is a supportive haven, where we work to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of those we serve. We offer a hand-up, rather than a hand-out, and journey with our guests towards a life of wellness and independence. We operate in 5 cities in Western Canada – Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Medicine Hat, and Kamloops.

In Calgary specifically, we have now opened 5 community centers where we work with the community to determine their needs, and cater our programs in a way that would best support them. We offer community events, language learning classes, employment coaching, and children’s programs. Further, we are expecting the completion of our family housing unit build by spring 2023 – we are so excited to launch Hub:29 in Ogden, a permanent supportive housing unit with wrap around supports. These supportive programs will emulate those in our Wellness Centre, located at our downtown Calgary campus.

The end of the pandemic and the recent economic state has presented challenges for The Seed and many others, but we are continuing to do our best to provide all programs and services to support our vulnerable neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty. Thus, we are mainly looking for monetary support from the community, but we are always grateful to find volunteers and donations as well.

Let’s spread the Christmas spirit and make this a December to remember!
