Active Learning Park & Main Building
Our hours are 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday.
Yes, our general admission is for ages 3 and up.
Our Day Pass and Seasons Passes include our Yester-Year Mini Golf course! Please get your clubs and balls from the Fabulous and Fantastic Farm Indoor Exhibit.
All day tickets are valid from open to close for the day listed on the ticket.
Pre-buy your tickets online or grab them at the door!
Yes, once you have paid entry to the park you will be given a wristband that allows you to come and go as you please for the entire day.
The main building is accessible while the outdoor park is filled with gravel paths that may prove difficult to some.
There are options throughout the building for lunch. We have our Cravings Cafe as well as a Snack Shack in the park!
Yes! With a valid Access2 card shown in person, aides can get in for free when accompanying a special needs guest. For currently serving military personnel or veterans you get 20% OFF all-access day passes.
Our park is suited for all guests.
Yes, in the park there are two separate washrooms available, one up at the farm friends exhibit, and one at the halfway point in the park near the Ant Farm. There are also multiple bathrooms inside of the main building.
We have gazebos that are shaded at every learning pod, several umbrellas at our picnic tables and we have a partially shaded patio with two covered areas.
Pets and other outside animals are not permitted. Please keep your furry friends at home.
There is a hotel close to 162nd Ave/Macleod Tr in Calgary, which is about a 15 min drive to Granary Road.

We’re in the foothills, it can be windy, beautifully sunny, and sometimes rain all in a short amount of time. We are open rain or shine, so dress in layers.
No, while we encourage you to buy your tickets online you are more then welcome to purchase your passes at the main desk
We are open rain, smoke or shine. We encourage you to visit our brand new indoor attraction to escape the weather. There will be no refunds offered due to weather.
No, sorry. We recommend bringing a wagon or a stroller as we have 36 acres of space!
