Tim Hus Band

Tim Hus has spent the last two decades performing his unique brand of Canadian historical and geographical songs from coast to coast in Canada, USA, and internationally. Hus spent two years touring with Canadian icon Stompin’ Tom Connors on his final Newfoundland to Vancouver cross-country trek where Tim was heralded as “the best opening act Tom had in his 50 year career”. He has also performed as part of the Calgary Stampede’s world-famous Grandstand Show.
Hus comes at his audience like a runaway rig, while firing off image-laden lyrics with the intensity of a western gunslinger. Hus was nominated for “Folk/Roots Artist of the Year” at the Canadian Music Awards and “Songwriter of the Year” at the Folk Music Awards. Tim’s distinctive song-writing and spirited performances stand as a cornerstone of authentic Canadiana.

The group is fronted by the incomparable Danny Nix, a veteran performer with an uncanny ability to imitate other vocalists, and backed up by his band of seasoned musicians rounding out the group’s sound.
Fuelled by a love of music from the 1950s up to today and across a wide array of genres, Danny Nix and the Heat bring a sound that will get the dance floor going and the good times flowing!


The Frontiers

Look no further! You have just found the best high-performance musical team! With over 1000 performances in 7 years, endorsed by Wild Rose Brewery, and Partnerships with Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Roughnecks & Stampede Inc.
In 2019, The Frontiers won the Roughnecks Got Talent event, which put the band in the scope of the entire Calgary Flames Corp. In the 2021/22 season, The Frontiers made Alberta history by being the first band ever to play in the stands during games for the Calgary Flames. During the regular season and playoffs, the band wowed crowds with this amazing mix of covers and original music. It was a dream come true and a huge milestone for this home-grown project.
Kate Stevens

Kate Stevens is a highly acclaimed vocalist and songwriter hailing from Calgary, Canada. With her emotive soul and R&B sound, riddled with jazz harmonies, Kate has established herself as one of Calgary's finest musicians. Her music is a powerful and evocative journey through the highs and lows of relationships in the 21st century.
Kate has received numerous awards for her songwriting and performances at prestigious venues such as the National Music Centre and the Calgary Folk Music Festival. In addition to her musical accomplishments, Kate is also a radio host at CKUA, where she uses her platform to empower and mentor upcoming musicians locally and across the airwaves.
