As a supervisor you will lead a culture of customer service in all aspects of the park & market.

Supervisor Duties include:

• Commit to the development of Granary Road Farmer’s Market & Active Learning Park by being an advocate for our facility.

• Understanding the meaning of excellent customer service – lead all Granary Road staff with a customer service mindset

• Train and mentor, all staff

• Using a computer to ring in guest admission, memberships, gift shop purchases, and concession purchases with cash, credit/debit cards, or gift cards.

• Ability to anticipate needs of a guest and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Setting up and facilitating special events, activities, crafts, etc.

• General cleaning and stocking in your assigned area as well as some major cleaning.

• Perform any and all duties as requested by the employer that are reasonable and that are customarily performed by a person holding a similar position in the industry.

Position Requirements:

• Proactive, responsible and can work with minimum supervision.

• Must be friendly, cooperative and enjoy working with the public.

• Experience in retail or food services is an asset.

• Some general math and science knowledge is an asset.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Due to Granary Road’s location outside of city limits, your own reliable transportation is required.

• Must be able to work most weekends/holidays.

• Full-time available.

• Contract Length: April to Mid October (with opportunity to stay year-round)

• Location: Foothills, AB
